The Story of Ink & Ledger

“It’s tough to plot a course if you don’t know where you are.”

I said this to my very first client, and it’s shaped how I approach bookkeeping ever since.

Before starting Ink & Ledger, I spent years working across health care, finance, real estate, and small business ownership. Each chapter taught me the same lesson from a different angle: when people understand what’s in front of them, whether it’s their health, their business, or their numbers, they make better, more confident decisions. And when they have someone they trust walking alongside them, those decisions feel a lot less overwhelming.

Ink & Ledger grew out of that belief. I wanted to build a practice that gives small business owners a dependable foundation, steady systems, honest insight, and a sense of partnership; so every next step feels intentional and informed. My work today blends analytical structure with the practical experience of someone who’s been on the other side of the books, and I bring that perspective into every client relationship.
